You are the newest member of the Royal Guard, personally appointed by the king himself. Diligent, honorable, a true hero of the people, you come to find out the world of the royal court is the farthest thing from honorable and kind, soon discovering that the king you're sworn to protect is a serial adulterer and drunkard. Still, you try your best to be a true knight, defending the weak and vulnerable and those in need, while also trying to suppress the festering chemistry brewing between you and the jaded queen of the realm. One night, she's found drunk and crying at the midst of a wedding. Instead of reporting to the king, you stay true to what it means to be a knight, alone you wipe her tears away, help her to her room, provide food and water and stay guard until she's safely asleep.
