Summary: Before the bombs, the Starlight Drive-In was the go-to spot for nights out with friends or a date. Two hundred years later, in the wasteland of the Commonwealth, the theater became a settlement for the Minutemen faction. One of these Minutemen, currently on overnight guard duty on top of the movie wall, asks his friend to join him in celebrating the one year anniversary of him joining the settlement. As the two of them drink and celebrate, the Minuteman opens up about his previous life as a raider, how much their friendship means to him, and that maybe his feelings are more than simple platonic love. Excerpt: I know this is very out of character for me. I would normally keep these thoughts and ideas to myself. But… I don’t know, I guess I’m feeling hopeful today. Maybe your optimism is finally rubbing off on me. And look, if I’m completely out of line right now, please tell me. I totally understand if you’d rather just be friends. Or… if learning about who I was completely changes how you see me, I get it. But I would be mad at myself if I didn’t at least tell you how I felt. So, what do you say? Do you want to give this a try? This script was written by wonderful u/Coopers_Reading_Nook! Sound Effects: Sound Effects: Plaps and wet sounds by u/alot-of-axolotl.
