Summary: Everything was going so well. With days filled to the brim with exciting activities, you haven’t felt that satisfying tiredness one gets after a jam-packed summer day since you were in grade school. You’ve been making friends, trying new things, and feeling that sweet sense of nostalgia. Everything came to a screeching halt when you got dragged along on the “teamwork” activities. You don’t know what you THOUGHT it was going to be, but you didn’t expect that it was going to be falling backwards and letting people catch you. That old familiar enemy ‘Doubt’ creeps in, your chest tightens, and you hear the laughter echoing from your past. You make up an excuse, pretending to have an injury, trying to get out of the activity before you can be humiliated. You can tell the camp counselor doesn’t believe you, but he doesn’t argue and allows you to dip out of the activity… You thought that was the end of it until you hear the *plink plink* of a rock on your window and look out to see that same camp counselor, waving for you to come out. What on earth could he want from you at 1AM? Inclusivity Note: This audio is dedicated to the big girlies, whether that means tall, plus size or both; anyone who’s ever felt like they were taking up too much space, or stuck out from the crowd. I’ve been in this head space and I know how even after years of accepting yourself, the self-doubt can reappear at the most unexpected times. I hope this makes you smile because you’re amazing!
