Summary: Being new to a small town isn't as bad as it seems especially when you find yourself freshly dating the hottest bachelor around. No one would expect you, a shy librarian werewolf who hides behind her books and smells of rain and vanilla to fall for the saw dust, oil covered flannel wearing lumberjack alpha whose veins bleed whiskey and has hard working hands of a carpenter. But it's happening and now you're ready for your next date. Beforehand though you decide to tease him by offering him a deal--if you can chop a piece of wood in under six swings then you can do whatever you want to him. But then he surprises you with a deal of his own--if you fail then he gets to split you open instead.
