They say that thinking can be a real sensual pleasure…but we both know that it doesn’t hold a candle to not thinking, doesn’t it? After all, the feeling of hypnotic suggestions growing in your mind, or feeling your mind being caressed by the words of your hypnotist are so deeply sensual, aren’t they? This file is meant to help the listener develop their ability to savor the “mindfeel” (AKA, the mental sensation) of different elements or types of hypnotic suggestion. Suggestions and sensations experienced in the mind have their sensuality highlighted, and the listener is encouraged to focus on these mental sensations. There is a long induction focused on the mental sensations of understanding, turning something over in one’s mind, and having one’s perspective changed by something told to them in hypnosis, followed by savoring the sensuality of a countdown. From there, the listener is guided through four different types of mental sensations they might experience in hypnosis, framed as a wine tasting; confusion, exhilaration, going blank (described as a “PING!” moment) and repeating a mantra. For each, the listener is offered/presented with different types of mindfeel they can savor, depending on how they want to experience each mental sensation. The mantra receives special attention as a mental sensation the listener can induce in themselves, and is instructed to repeat “mindlessness is so sensual”. The file then highlights the listener’s agency in savoring the mindfeel in the way that feels best to them, when it feels best to them, and to the degree that feels best to them. The file does mention that savoring the mindfeel can make the listener more vulnerable to the suggestions and mental sensations that they want to feel vulnerable to, but the listener’s agency in savoring the mindfeel and giving in in a way that feels best to them is highlighted.
