Youre a singer a damn good one! unfortunately, that kind of work is hard to find these days and when you finally did get a gig well it wasnet for just singing. but a job is a job so you took it. to be honest the side work isnt that bad. most of the time, its downright rewarding. and the pay is nothing to sneeze at either. it is demanding work though.
