The speaker is a gay guy working at a big corporate company. He and his husband are struggling financially, so he's vying for a promotion that his female boss has been alluding to for a while. Once he learns that another coworker of his is sleeping with their boss, he realizes that he might lose the promotion as a result. In a last-ditch effort, he visits his boss in her office and seduces her, determined to get the promotion.
