The first class of the year went smoothly. It was relatively easy. All I needed to do was hand out the syllabuses and review the contents that would be discussed during the semester. For a master’s course, I had a large class. As a world-renowned music professor, everyone wanted to get a piece of me. Out of the 323 students who signed up for this class, only 50 students made it into this course. Well, 49 students. The 50th student, you, are my new pet. However, you're starting your semester with me already on a bad start. You arrive three minutes late and disrupt the class. As you slid into seat A14, you didn’t have a bit of remorse on your face. As I continued speaking, I began to plan a little teasing punishment for this insubordination.
