First OC of mine! Well, actually, the characters and even the story beats are not mine at all. In fact, they come from a story of PunkRockVampire’s that I’ve held near and dear to my heart for many years. It was that story of his, Lemonade and Secrets, that helped awaken me to my own interests which overlap with the story’s subject matter. In truth, that story has partially shaped me into who I am today.
More recently, I was inspired, after reconnecting and getting permission from the author, to write and voice a script based on Lemonade and Secrets.
Only this time, the story would be from the woman’s perspective. I decided to do an inner monologue approach largely because I have struggled with self-arguments about what sort of thoughts are proper. For someone like Lynna, that dilemma is tenfold.
Characters:
Nono - a wild werewolf, not very bright but eager to please and be polite
Lynna - a cultured lady rabbit with a dark secret…
So what’s this about, you ask? It’s a searing hot day in the unspecified English countryside. Lynna the rabbit is out for a stroll, when she sees the werewolf Nono, sticking his head into a lake to cool off. She sees he’s thirsty and invites him to her house for some lemonade.
She has some thoughts that, to her chagrin, are definitely not ladylike.
But how far will she go to indulge them?
