Hello all you adorable kittens! This is my adaptation of a script that has been sticking with me for over a month written by the lovely /u/smokey_before_sunset! My interest was initially piqued by the comments, but the performer character really fascinated me. I shared the script with a few friends of mine, and it became a topic of conversation for weeks. I figured if it stuck with me that long, I kind of had to adapt it. I hope I did it well enough for those interested to enjoy it. Yes, I know I'm reading too much into this. Overthinking things is kind of my raison d'etre. Also, why did I pick nyanby as one of the options? In this audio I play an unpleasant and entitled woman who has come to an auction to adopt a cat person, however is late. The listener’s character is the only one left, and my character is cruel, referring to them as boring, weird looking, broken, and bottom of the barrel merchandise. The cat person's supervisor eventually convinces my character to adopt the cat person for one day. Once she gets the cat person home, she's still mean, but starts to warm up to them, and even apologizes to them for one of her comments. Eventually the cat person expresses that they’re hungry. The woman has them bring her a nursing bottle with milk, so she can hold them while nursing them, petting them, and having them call her mommy. She does open up more, becoming a bit sweeter to the cat person, and asking them about why they hadn't been adopted. The cat person expresses that they kept being returned for behavioral problems, something the woman tries to reassure them about until she makes a joke that distresses the cat person. After comforting them for that, she cuddles with them in bed, and spoons them to sleep. When asked whether or not she intends to return the listener’s character, she says yes, but is hesitant about it. It's left ambiguous as to if she actually does this. There are references to the cat person being soft, as well as petting their hair and face. The body configuration, hair type, and skin color of the listener’s character are never specified.
