There is one significant deviation from the original script in this interpretation. In the original script, it was clear the woman kept the kitten after their trial period. In this version, the kitten was returned, however she went back for them soon after. In this audio, I play the woman from part 1 and the listener's character is still the kitten. 4 months have passed, and she has since adopted the kitten. The woman awakens to noises in her kitchen, and finds her kitten rummaging in the fridge, having nibbled holes in some very expensive tuna. While the woman never raises her voice, she is clearly displeased. She states that what they have done is stealing, and tells them that the fish was more expensive than they were. She brings up that she has the ability to throw the kitten out if she wanted to. She decides to punish them by spanking their tongue, and reminds them of the time she put them in the basement for a week while playing with another kitten. After spanking their tongue, she continues her conversation. The woman asks why the kitten was “acting like a stray”, and is informed that they were hungry, and afraid to ask for more food. She tells them that if she knew they were hungry, she would have been happy to provide. In an attempt to teach them to ask, she has them eat some of the tuna. She brings up the guilt their feeling, and explains she doesn’t want them to feel guilty about eating expensive food, but wants them to ask. She tells the kitten she will never punish her kitten for asking questions, and has them ask for the fish. She says yes. Once she’s sure her kitten has had their fill, she has them put the fish back into the fridge, and come to bed with her for sleep. She makes plans to take them with her to the grocery store the next day to buy a new piece of fish. While being punished, the kitten is called a bad kitten. The woman refers to herself as mommy quite a bit. She also attacks the self worth of her kitten before trying to build them back up. The body configuration, hair type, and skin color of the listener’s character are never specified. In all versions, they are primarily referred to as kitten.
