You're (the speaker) a single woman who just bought a home on a large piece of land and it's your first Halloween in the house. You've noticed some odd things about the home, but never thought much of it. After all the trick-or-treaters have left, you get one last knock on the door. Only this isn't a trick-or-treater, it's the ghost (the listener) that's been haunting your home, a nice young man who has only been able to return to the living because of your spiritual sensitivity. You spend the evening talking, where you find out that he never took a lover while he was alive. Not even a kiss. You decide to change that.
