yesterday was a really great day. one of the many reasons it was great was when i decided to turn on some jams i founddddddddd a sweet spot and even though i don't showcase sis on here, it all started out with fellow baby megan da stallion neighhhhhhhhh. i found the right tempo, the right pitch, the right vibes. and then i decided to shuffle. and while it shuffled a lot of songs i already have in my endless black hole of a music library, i found some new ones...and i found some nuances to the ones i have heard but not quite in this way. and it was giving one of my newer still in the making stages playlist i have. and i got excited. because this is one that i think i might have mentioned on here maybe once before? it took some digging, some time, some seeding, some exploration...i would hear this type of song and i knew it was a message. i knew it was trying to get some side some essence of the experience of being a little baby girl..but i couldn't find out what was it saying? the concept the community loves of using your words definitely does NOT apply when using music as reading tea leaves and peering into a crystal ball, the spells and incantations and the energetic essences do not like being clear..most of the time. so i wade.... ya baby wadin she wadin she wadin, her ear open it's floatin it's strokin waiting to feel the motion in the ocean. and then i got it! i did it, i did it, i did it YAY! so this birthing is about, *clears throat* babygirls talking their shit it was confusing because it definately has assertive energy, but it wasn't the brat vibe.....the brat vibe happens, and some live specifically only in the brat vibe..but it wasn't just that. this is the confident, assertive, babygirl expressing and explaining what is it? these songs are a 101 of what does being a babygirl mean in song form. a dictionary definition song after song after song..and then like pride being prideful of who you are, celebrating, boosting, ayyy ayyy ayyy ing, reveling in who the baby is and what the baby is. and just getting in that vibe song after song, babygirl rapper after different babygirl rapper is such a delicious space to be in. yeah to the song. so the song is by problematic as fuck rap name lightskinnedkeisha. regardless of the name i don't think much of it....it takes all types there are babygirls and little girls that are ratchet as fuck, troubled as fuck, toxic as fuck. there are babygirls that are classy as fuck, commanding as fuck, potent as fuck...and everything in between. for me i'm more of a you're one of us than a judgement on the scale of life that they are in. anyway it goes by pop it! i was very encouraged, motivated, and enthused while listening and decided to join in for a bit near the end myself. and to end it let's do a little visual representation to honor the babygirl who chose to create the music for us,by us and enhance our daily lives with some great vibes of i yammmmmmmmmmmmmm what i yammmmmmmmmmmm which is not. popeye the sailor man. hee
